US.BusinessOptix.com performance and outages

Status Update:

Towards the end of July, the root cause was identified as an API request to the server that was resulting in excessive concurrent connections to the server from certain customer libraries. This API request was removed to be refactored for improved performance, resolving the issue.

We have monitored and confirmed the behaviour is resolved and currently consider this issue resolved.

 

The US.BusinessOptix.com platform is experiencing intermittent performance issues, some of which are leading to outages.

Firstly, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to assure the users of US.BusinessOptix.com that the team is aware of the issue and are working towards a permanent solution. 

We continue to monitor the platform and aim to maintain our high-availability goals and standards by being proactive, while we work to resolve the underlying issues.

As soon as we have stabilised the platform, an update on Root Cause and resolution will be provided.

 

ADDITIONAL NOTE: These issues have no connection to the Crowdstrike/MS Windows outage of 19/07/2024. We have been investigating them for some days and BusinessOptix does not use Crowdstrike products on our platform.
